Enterprise Canada Launches Atlantic Canada Practice

Halifax, NS – After years of building relationships and serving clients in Atlantic Canada, Enterprise Canada is launching an Atlantic Practice under the leadership of David Tarrant.

Enterprise has always been proud to provide our clients with a truly national perspective that includes the Atlantic Canadian marketplace,” said Barbara Fox, CEO of Enterprise Canada, “We are excited to work with local businesses and organizations within Atlantic Canada as well as help our national clients with an Atlantic presence achieve their strategic goals.”

Enterprise’s Atlantic Office will be headquartered in Halifax.  Relocating to Nova Scotia to lead the Atlantic Practice will be David Tarrant, who will continue in his national role as Enterprise’s Vice President, National Strategic Communications.

It has long been one of my personal and professional goals to build a business in Atlantic Canada, and I am excited to be part of Enterprise’s growing coast-to-coast business,” said Tarrant.  “Whether you are Nova Scotian, Islander, New Brunswicker or Newfoundlander and Labradorian, the future of this entire region is bright, and I look forward to opening our Halifax office and finally meeting our clients where they are.”

A native Newfoundlander, David has twenty years of experience in Canadian public affairs with high-level engagement within the Atlantic marketplace that includes serving as a senior communications advisor to former Nova Scotia Premier John Hamm, and senior strategist in the successful election campaign of current Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston.  Over the course of his career, Tarrant has also worked in the office of Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Prime Minister Stephen Harper and as Director of Strategic Communications for BMO Financial Group.

The opening of a Halifax office is a part of Enterprise’s growth strategy, that includes offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton, and Hamilton and new a sister agency, Creative Currency, a full-service advertising and content studio that fills the gap between the fast-paced, high-stakes world of public affairs and traditional advertising to challenge how businesses think about protecting their brands and selling their products and services.
