Enterprise Welcomes Experienced Campaigner Mitch Heimpel

Toronto, ONT. — Enterprise Canada is thrilled to welcome experienced Conservative campaigner, Mitch Heimpel as Director of Campaigns and Government Relations.

Former Chief of Staff in the Ford government and Director of Parliamentary Affairs for Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole, Mitch has a thorough understanding of Parliament Hill, Queen’s Park, its players and the decision-making process that supports it.

“Mitch is the definition of a political insider, and his experience combined with a campaign mindset and strong communication skills will help our clients reach their goals, no matter the issue or audience,” said Jason Lietaer, President of Enterprise Canada.

A natural collaborator, Mitch’s experience in policy and parliamentary affairs has led to the passage of major initiatives at both the federal and provincial levels of government in recent years, including Ontario’s nation-leading Anti-Human Trafficking Strategy and Canada’s recognition of the Uyghur genocide.

This legislative success also relied on Mitch’s ability to build relationships across the political spectrum on and off the clock – including his time spent running the Government House Leader’s Office as well as the Legislature’s “Legiskaters” hockey team.

Mitch will be a key member of our federal and provincial government relations team in Ottawa.
