Look Inside

For more than a decade, Mitch has been running campaigns at every level of government and serving in senior roles both at Queen’s Park, and Parliament Hill. Mitch’s experience in policy and parliamentary affairs has led to the passage of major initiatives at both the federal and provincial levels of government in recent years.

He worked on Ontario’s nation-leading Anti-Human Trafficking Strategy, its elimination of the practice of “Birth Alerts”, and its recent reforms to the Child Welfare system, initiatives that required extensive consultation with First Nations Communities to ensure culturally appropriate and community-led services.

Most recently, Mitch served as the Director of Parliamentary Affairs for Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole and was in charge of his preparation for the English language Leader’s Debate during the 2021 Election. While on the Hill, Mitch drafted the motion that led to Canada being the first nation in the world to have its legislature officially recognize the Uyghur genocide.

Mitch has connections across the political spectrum from running his time spent running the Government House Leader’s Office, as well as the Legislature’s “Legiskaters” hockey team.

Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Mitch now lives in the Bay of Quinte region with his partner and their son.
